I am not very happy that my tank has plastic shavings in it. Glad I had a hatch put in to clean it out or else my water lines would have plugged up.
Hi Calvin, sorry to hear you are not happy with your water tank. As part of the spin welding process we need to drill out holes and it is impossible to get rid of 100% of the shavings. New trailers fresh from the factory often have a small amount of shavings in the tank due to this as well. We always recommend a filter strainer such as the Shurflo 255-315 to filter out any shavings, or any other debris that can get into the tank when filling it.
